Caycedo is participating in the upcoming ‘Working for the Future Past’, an exhibition featuring artists from the Latin American region, at Seoul Museum of Art. Her work has been exhibited worldwide with solo shows at Vienna Secession, Intermediae-Matadero, Madrid, Galerie du Jour agnès b., Paris, Alianza Francesa, Bogotá, Hordaland Kunstsenter, Bergen, the18th Street Arts Center, Los Angeles, and DAAD Gallery, Berlin. She has also participated in international biennials and triennials, including São Paulo (2016), Berlin (2014), Paris (2013), New Museum (2011), Havana (2009), Whitney (2006), Venice (2003), and Istanbul (2001). In recent years, she was a DAAD Artists-in-Berlin resident, and awarded with grants from Creative Capital, California Community Foundation, Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, Harpo Foundation, Art Matters, Colombian Culture Ministry, Arts Council UK, and Prince Claus Fund. Caycedo is currently included in the exhibition A Universal History of Infamy at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, part of Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA. Caycedo earned her M. F. A. from the University of Southern California, and her B. F. A. from Los Andes University, Bogotá.
