Our Red Packet for Your Favorite Blue

BANK is very proud to announce the solo exhibition of Polit-Sheer-Form Office (PSFO) – Our Red Packet for Your Favorite Blue at OCT Art & Design Museum in Shenzhen, opening on July 16 and continues through October 22.

Coinciding with the 12th anniversary of the art collective's founding, this exhibition will showcase 11 works, including classics from their dynamic practice as well as some brand new site-specific works that respond to Shenzhen's multi-faceted distinctions in economics, culture, and technology. The collective has sourced items and inspiration from the public domain, photographed their fieldtrips and purchased readymade items. Through the filter of PSFO's members' unique backgrounds and perspectives they have pondered on subjects such as design, production, manufacturing, art and life as well as initiated passionate discussions and interactions with the local society. Utilizing elements of today's barter economy and social exchange through technology, this presentation at Hua Museum could be seen as an artistic round up for the 30-year development of Shenzhen.
